Voltage probes are primarily used for terminal or line voltage measurements, which are not measurable by LISN.

The KHZ43201 voltage probe is a standard low resistance test probe which performance and technical specifications meet the requirements of CISPR16-1 and CISPR14-1 test standards. When measuring the interference voltage of the power, the LISN cannot be used at the load port. A voltage probe is required to measure the interference of the signal port, the load port, and the antenna port.The input impedance of the voltage probe to earth is more than 1.5K ohm, which protects the input of the receiver.

When measuring terminal voltage or cables, output sockets, and PCB traces, the active probe's own pulse will far exceed the linear voltage range, which will cause measurement distortion effects and affect the frequency distribution of the spectrum. The voltage probe has high impedance and low capacitance, and its measurement results are completely linear, avoiding these effects.
