OS-5 Optical Waveguide EMP Monitoring System
概述:

Optical Waveguide EMP Monitoring System is developed by using the electro-optical effect principle of lithium niobate crystal.The waveform, spectrum, phase and amplitude of a 50Hz-12GHz electromagnetic field signal are measured. The system has the characteristics of large bandwidth, high range, fast response time, no conduction disturbance, and small field disturbance. The anlyzer can be used in nuclear pulse, high pressure discharge pulse, radar pulse, electromagnetic pulse, high power microwave, electromagnetic compatibility and field strength testing, especially suitable for large pulse signal, high field strength testing, measurement of all the pulse signal over a wide range of bandwidth, accurate phase information of the signal time domain waveform and spectrum. The system consists of the photoelectric probe, the photoelectric host and the optical fiber and series probe and corresponding host can be connected to measure the different channels of electromagnetic field. The system is a small size, large bandwidth, large range and less-disturbance three-axis isotropic antenna.

EMC test

The applications include EMC test, EMF test and antenna parameter measurement for electronic equipment and system. The unit also can be used as a field probe or field strength measurement sensor which satisfy IEC61000-4-3 standard for testing radio frequency electromagnetic field and electromagnetic pulse field.

Measurement of Electromagnetic Environment of High Voltage Power Transmission Substation Projects 

OS-5-LF can be used to measure transient plused electromagnetic fields such as Corona Discharge, Partial Discharge, Switching Impulse Discharge, and Lightning Discharge. High-intensity power-frequency electric field measurement on the surface of insulators, peripherals of high-voltage electrified equipment, etc.

In particular, the probe is not affected by moisture, it can meet the measurement requirements of the power frequency electric field under high humidity conditions without errors which is usually a big problem of traditional probes under high humidity conditions.

Measurement of electromagnetic field

Optical Waveguide EMP Monitoring System has an ultra wideband and the frequency range of 50Hz-12GHz. It can be used in measurement of base station, broadcast and television towers, environmental electromagnetic field monitoring, etc. The Optical Waveguide EMP Monitoring System can analyze the spectrum and waveform of the eletromagnetic field.

The frequency range of the electric field measurement is divided into 50Hz-400kHz and 100kHz-12GHz, and the frequency range of the magnetic field measurement is 5MHz-12GHz.

Isotropic probe

The measurement of each component field and the total field can be achieved quickly, accurately and efficiently with the design of Tri-axial probe and no need to adjust the direction of the probe.

Measurement of electromagnetic pulse.

The system has the characteristics of large bandwidth, high range, fast response time, no conduction disturbance, and small field disturbance which ensure the nanosecond pulse can be quickly captured in order to measure the radar pulse, the nuclear detonation pulse, the electromagnetic pulse, the radar pulse, the discharge pulse.

Ideal for EMC Test

The metal parts of the photoelectric probe are small which has small disturbance to the measurement. the probe and the photoelectric host are connected by the optical fiber which gives the strong anti-electromagnetic interference capability and there is no interference problem caused by the RF cable connection.

Remote measurement

The photoelectric probe and the photoelectric host are separated connected by optical fiber instead of traditional RF cables. In this way, the system can greatly reduce the conduction loss and increase the sensitivity of measurement. Measurement points and measurement observation points can be separated in a long distance.

Immunity to large EM field

There are no electronic components in the photoelectric probe, which ensure the unit will not be destroyed by the large field. Optical signals are transmitted between the photoelectric probe and the photoelectric host, no matter how large the field at the probe, the electromagnetic capability will not be transmitted through the optical fiber to the photoelectric host and the spectrometer oscilloscope, so it will not be destroyed. The traditional probe or antenna is connected to the host by metal cable, and there is a problem of large field damage.

Small size

The size of the three-axis isotropic photoelectric Probe is 100mm×100mm×100mm, and the size of one single axis probe is smaller than 20mm×10mm, that make it possible to measure in a small space. 

Measurement Outdoor & in laboratory

Photoelectric host use built-in lithium ion battery power supply, meanwhile external power supply is allowed to be used. the size of the unit is 132 mm * 331 mm * 331 mm which is equipped with portable bag. The probe can be installed on the insulation tripod which ensure the outdoor field measurement,and it can also be measured in the laboratory.
